NEFA paper mache animal mask skillshare

Sunday, 9th September 2018 at 10am - 2pm

Location: Lismore Environment Centre

This event is in the past.

North East Forest Alliance is making animal masks to be used in the forests campaign.

Sue (organic grower at lismore organic markets) has selected 10am sun Sept 2018 at the Lismore Environment Centre. Sue has lots of tips and experience to pass on which will make it much easier for us. it will be up to us to visualise the mask that we want. Simple masks, like the masked Owl masks that Benny made for some Pilliga blockades look good when lined up in front of a huge truck. The more complex pilliga mouse mask allows its character to develop. Sue has a method for molding the mask to fit from forehead to back of head so that it is sturdy.

If participants can bring;

---white four

---maybe pva for the finish coat

---some bowls or billies etc

---food as it will run into lunchtime

Yes, environmental education has become compulsory in these days. Now a day we see, the world is becoming robotic. Every work is taken form machines. Petrol or chemicals are used in factories. Polluted water is seen everywhere garbage can be seen everywhere. How to clean our environment is mandatory to educate to the students.
